Second time in the Old Quarter. Diamond King is located in an ideal location with great shopping and food on your doorstep, an 'real' and reasonably priced decent massage / spa in Aroma Spa across the road, the Lake 10 mins walk and the evening entertainment and bars just 5 mins walk around the corner. The rooms are fresh and very clean. The staff will go the extra mile to make your stay the best it can be and give advice on where to go for great food etc. I must say a huge thanks to Kim who notified me I left 2 shirts behind. She found courier and postage ropiness to get them Thailand and was so good with communication and finding solutions. Thank you Kim! Happy to highly recommend this place.

The hotel's central location makes it very ideal for travelers visiting Hanoi. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly and helpful especially Mr. Shang, who made our week-long stay comfortable. Overall great experience and I highly recommend the hotel.

If you need a cheap and convenient location, this is a good hotel located in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. Other than that, it doesn’t have much to offer. The room is about 170 square feet. Wifi is slow and weak. Wall papers are peeling off. The wood floor by the bathroom door is water damaged. There’s a hole in the tiled-wall in the bathroom that doesn’t get patched. The AC is not cold and is more like a fan. This hotel is more like a two star motel in the US.

Nearly everything is in walking distance. Due to the central location in the old town, traffic can be heard, but with Oropax this is not a problem. The mattress is excellent, not too soft and not the least bit worn. The service was exceptionally good, very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the hotel. There is no breakfast offered.

Great hotel, best value for money. Awesome value. Great location too, in the centre of the city amongst all of the main attractions. A lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were very friendly. I was given a free upgrade.
